GIRLS FLAG FOOTBALL DIVISION!
With so many girls wanting to play flag football across the US, Nipmuc Flag Football is working to bring Girls Only Flag Football to the league! This is exciting news as many colleges are now offering scholarships for women who play flag!

Player Evaluations
Player evaluations are typically held during the last couple weeks in July. All players need to make an attempt to attend if possible. We understand that some families could be on vacation.
PRACTICES For Grades 1st-12th - August
- Practices are held during in the month of August
- Practices will be held at Miscoe Middle School in Mendon, MA on the back Football Field. Practices could also be held at Memorial School in Upton, and the Upton VFW.
Practices will be 1 or 2 nights on a Mon, Wed and/or Thurs. @ 5:30 to 6:30 or 6:30-7:30.
Once games begin, some coaches will have limited practices during the season or short practices before games. This is determined by the coach.
GAMES For Grades 1st-12th - September - October
- Games will begin in late August, 1st week of September. All games will be held under the lights on the turf fields at The New England Baseball Complex(NEBC) in Northboro, MA .
- Games for grades 1-12 are on Tuesday and/or Thursday nights starting at 5:30 , 6:40, & 7:45(Older Kids(High School)), all under the lights!
2024 FALL FLAG DIVISIONS
- "Lil Ballers" Division - PRE-K/K - INSTRUCTIONAL - This division is different than the other divisions and will play locally on Monday/Wednesday Nights in Upton & Mendon ONLY. To learn more about the Lil Ballers Program, CLICK HERE
- 1/2 (1st & 2nd Grade) This division is instructional/competitive with many being 1st time Flag players but still allowing the teams to be competitive. Teams will have playoffs and a Superbowl.
- 3/4 (3rd & 4th Grade) Competitve Division - This division consits of 3rd & 4th grade players. Teams will have playoffs and a Superbowl.
- 5/6 (5th & 6th Grade) Competitve Division - This division consits of 5th & 6th grade players. Teams will have playoffs and a Superbowl. Teams in this division are eligible for Regional Post Season NFL Tournaments.
- 7/8/9 (7th, 8th & 9th Grade) Competitive Division - This division consists of 7th, 8th & 9th grade players. Teams will have playoffs and a Superbowl.. Teams in this division are eligible for Regional Post Season NFL Tournaments.
- HIGH SCHOOL - Competitive Division - This division consists of 10th, 11th & 12th grade players. In some cases, 9th graders could be invited to this division.
REGISTRATION FEE - GRADES 1 -12
Unfortunately, fees did increase a little this year due to Uniform , Referee, and Increased Field Costs. We still kept early registration which starts in MARCH and will save you up to $20 per player! So Don't Delay!
- Fall Early Registration Fee $195 March 1st - March 31st
- Fall Semi-Early Reg Fee $205 April 1st - April 30th
- Fall Regular Registration Fee $215 May 1st - June 30th
- July 1st - beyond. Fall Late Fee $15

Mid May: Spring Skillz Clinics - 2 days of fun & excitement getting your skillz up to par! Register for this event starting in March.

March 1st: Fall Flag Football EARLY Registration Begins (SAVE $$)
May 1st: Fall Flag Football Regular Registration Fees begin - No Discounts
June 30th: Fall Registration Closes
July 1-31st: Limited LATE Fall Registrations may be available. $15 Late Fee Applies
Late July: Evaluations Begin. We will be forming teams, confirming coaches, creating schedules and more during this time.
August TBD: Practices Begin
Last week of August: Fall Season Games Begin
Last weekend of October: FALL Championship / Superbowl Games

FLEX FOOTBALL - We have had several parents with concerns that we are like FLEX Football. Don't worry, we are not Flex. The RISK is NOT Worth The Reward. Nipmuc Flag Football is NOT a "Contact" flag program like Flex/Tackle is. With flex you wear some pads and a foam helmet for blocking and possible head and body injury. Our program is considered a "NON-CONTACT" sport which is safer for the kids and Appproved by the NFL. No pads or helmets required! With the latest information about concussions & consistent helmet hits on Tackle/Flex kids under the age of 14, we know that Safety is yours and our #1 concern!
